The Nanopresso from Wacaco's Elements Chill range is an ultra-compact machine. All its parts are assembled like a Russian doll. To avoid losing any parts, simply fit them all together.
Its size is practical: it fits in a rucksack, in your tent or even on a desk. And it weighs less than 400 grams! In terms of design, it's dressed in a pretty neutral colour, white, which gives it its name: Nanopresso White, and gives it a connotation of joy and simplicity. Wacaco coffee machines are designed for backpackers, travellers and Sunday strollers who appreciate a cup of coffee in the open air to warm up where there's not always a power supply. With this in mind, Wacaco has built its Nanopresso coffee makers around a hand-pump system. Place ground coffee in the compartment designed for it, add hot water, close the lid and activate the pump to raise the pressure of the coffee machine to 18 bars. This pressure will extract the coffee and give you an espresso in just a few seconds.

Carrying Your Wacaco Nanopresso
When we say portable coffee maker, we also mean easy to carry:
Nanopresso coffee machines are small and fit in one hand. But to make travelling even easier, Wacaco sends it in a protective case made from EVA materials. These are shock-resistant, so the sleeve will prevent your portable machine from getting knocked about and ending up scratched.
If you prefer, you can also take a Wacaco NS adapter with you in your case. This allows you to use your Nanopresso machine with Nespresso®-compatible coffee pods. The choice is yours.
In any case, with this portable coffee machine you'll receive, in addition to its protective case, a spoon for grinding coffee, a brush, a filter basket, an espresso cup (integrated) and two stickers (to decorate it, or stick them elsewhere!).

Bring Your Wacaco Nanopresso Anywhere
This coffee machine is truly portable. The Nanopresso is portable thanks to its sleeve and compact size. But above all because you won't need a plug socket. And once you've made your coffee, you're sure to appreciate its ultra-simple cleaning: all the parts are easy to separate. So you can remove them one by one and rinse them under running water.
This Nanopress White portable coffee maker also works with ground coffee. Our experts recommend using very finely ground coffee. But whatever fineness of grind you choose, the good thing is that it's still compostable. With no pods or capsules to recycle, you can leave the coffee grounds behind when you go on picnics or hikes in the natural world. It's quick to clean and easy to dispose of. Just put it away in its carrying case and off you go on your next adventure!
The type of roast will affect the balance of flavours (bitterness, acidity, sweetness, etc.) and reveal the aromas of the terroir to a greater or lesser extent.
The more the coffee is roasted the more its colour will change (from light to dark). The darker the roast, the more the aromatic notes are lost in favour of the roasting notes.
All our coffees have been placed in a colorimeter by our experts in order to compare the roast intensity.
The aromatic groups describe the tasting notes of your cup (hazelnut, chocolate, peach, white flowers, etc.).
If you don't know what your coffee profile is yet, we advise you to start with the most appreciated aromatic groups: rich & sweet or woody.
Please Note: this is not a flavoured coffee but aromatic notes noticed upon tasting.
The dominant aromatic group represents the most perceptible notes and the secondary group, the more subtle notes present in the cup.
Traditional Coffees (classic and superior) are the most common in the various distribution channels.
Specialty Coffees (rated 80-100) are among the best coffees in the world and represent less than 10% of world production. These are flawless coffees that offer unique tasting notes from one terroir (or even plot) to another.
Attributed by “Q Graders”, a coffee's /100 score is determined by the quality of the beans and the result in the cup. It is advisable to progressively move towards coffees with higher scores.
