How to choose my coffee’s aromatic group?

Traditional Coffee - Superior

Score < 80

Traditional Coffee: These are the most widespread coffees in the various distribution channels in France, both private and professional.

Superior Coffee: These are coffees that contain no more than 20% Robusta, whose country of origin we know and/or which have a label (organic farming, fair trade, etc.)

Brazil Mogiana Coffee: A Committed Single-Origin Arabica

Hailing from the São Paulo state in Brazil, the Brazil Alisios coffee beans come from the Mogiana region, a historic centre of coffee cultivation nurtured by the Serra do Ciganos cooperative. This area, named after the Companhia Mogiana de Estradas de Ferro railway established in 1883, played a crucial role in the growth of Brazilian coffee by linking plantations to export ports. Situated between the Atlantic Rainforest and the Brazilian Cerrado, Mogiana offers rolling hills and a diverse climate, where the interplay of humid and dry zones creates an ideal environment for coffee plants. The plentiful sunshine enhances leaf photosynthesis, allowing the beans to develop slowly and richly in aroma. This single-origin Mogiana Arabica is renowned for its harmonious balance and complex flavour profile. Additionally, it holds the Fresh Coffee Clean Ocean (FCCO) certification, ensuring a commitment to quality alongside environmentally responsible and socially conscious production practices.

Anemos sailing cargo ship transporting sustainable Brazil Alisios Green Lion Coffee

Sustainable Coffee Delivered by Wind-Powered Sailing

This sustainably produced coffee, certified Fresh Coffee Clean Ocean, is transported exclusively by the Anemos cargo sailboat operated by TOWT. Powered entirely by wind, it crosses the Atlantic without relying on fossil fuels, providing an eco-friendly alternative to traditional shipping methods. This approach cuts CO2 emissions by 75%, demonstrating a firm commitment to environmentally responsible coffee. Unlike conventional container ships, sailing reduces noise pollution, helping to safeguard marine life. By embracing renewable energy, this environmentally conscious coffee avoids dependence on oil and large shipping companies, representing a deliberate choice to enjoy coffee that honours the planet at every step. The sailing route links the Brazilian coast to the port of Le Havre, embodying a slower, fairer approach to trade. Every cup of this dedicated coffee carries the value of time, care, and conviction.
