Panettone is the quintessential Christmas cake, and this version from Gran Galup featuring Streglio chocolate chips is a true festive delight. Its distinctive triangular shape makes slicing into generous, indulgent portions effortless, perfect for sharing with loved ones. To enhance the experience, it includes a sachet of flavoured icing sugar to dust over the cake, adding a subtle, sweet finish. For optimal freshness and to preserve its soft texture, store your panettone in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally between 18 and 20°C.
Detailed Ingredients of the Gran Galup Chocolate Chip Panettone
This panettone is crafted from premium ingredients including wheat flour, 21% free-range class A eggs, 16% butter made from milk, and 9% chocolate chips composed of sugar, cocoa powder, cocoa butter, and soya lecithin. It also contains natural yeast, whole milk, salt, brewer's yeast, and natural and vanilla flavourings. The accompanying icing sugar includes sugar, wheat starch, and flavouring, with a possibility of traces of nuts and mustard. All ingredients are sourced from both EU and non-EU origins, ensuring a high-quality and authentic Italian Christmas treat.
