Café Mokxa’s Rwanda Taba organic coffee beans, weighing 250g, are cultivated through sustainable and eco-friendly farming methods. Under the guidance of Tom and Sylvia, leaders of the Coffee Village cooperative comprising 1,200 dedicated producers, the focus is on preserving soil health and biodiversity by using organic fertilisers. Grown in Rwanda’s mountainous Taba region at altitudes between 1,700 and 2,000 metres, the coffee benefits from a tropical microclimate and nutrient-rich volcanic soils, ideal for Arabica cultivation. This certified organic Bourbon coffee is handpicked and naturally processed to ensure exceptional and consistent quality. Expertly selected by Café Mokxa and roasted using traditional French techniques, it embodies the skill and commitment of local growers.

Because coffee is an agricultural product, which is defined by climate, soil type, shade, botanical variety and altitude, their range varies throughout the year according to seasonality. Café Mokxa only works with local coffees, from current harvests, and having received a tasting score higher than 84/100.
